From time to time I seem to buy clothes that I think is a little out of my comfort zone, and this outfit certainly is that. As much as I love the checkered trend that’s been around lately, I felt like it just wouldn’t suit me and I should stick to my black outfits.
I’ve always stayed away from wearing trousers because at 5 ft 2, I always thought that they’d make me look much bigger than I am, and also every pair I buy just seem to drown me in length.
However, after stumbling through every petite section of every online website, I came across this beautiful pair of wide leg trousers on Boohoo that were only £8(!) and when they arrived they actually fit me perfectly! The length was just right to wear with heels, and that’s exactly what I did when I went on a night out last week.
As some of you may know, I LOVE online shopping so I got incredibly excited yesterday when I woke up and saw on Instagram that MissGuided was having a 50% SALE ON EVERYTHING. Oh yes, yes you read correctly, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ON THE WEBSITE!
I got onto the site very easily at around 8:30am and started adding things to my basket, ecstatic at how little I was going to pay for so much. Then when I finally came to pay, guess what?! This little message popped up. Continue reading
A few months ago, the beauty world blew up when Kylie Jenner told the world what lipsticks she uses from MAC.
‘Velvet Teddy‘ was out of stock in most MAC stores in the UK, with lip liners ‘Soar‘,’Spice‘ and ‘Whirl‘following close behind.
Because of the huge amount of popularity for the lip liner ‘Whirl’, the MAC creators decided to release it as a lipstick, and let’s just say it has been IMMENSELY popular all across the world.
A part of the ‘The Matte Lip Collection’, Whirl was released along with 21 other shades; however I think we can all tell that this lippy was the most popular because of the infamous Kylie Jenner.
And I don’t blame people, the colour is gorgeous. A dusky rose nude with a hint of brown, the shade is perfect for any skin tone and will look great during any season.
Pictured without flash, the colour looks a tad darker than it is.
Pictured with flash. The colour looks more pinky.
I also purchased the Whirl lip liner to go with this and it is an exact match. I’m so happy to finally own them both and can’t wait to wear them over the Christmas season!
Do you own Whirl? If not do you want to buy it? Let me know in the comments!
ALSO… I am so sorry for not blogging much over the past few weeks. It was my 18th birthday and I got many amazing presents including a CAR! Eek! However, said car got written off by a stupid man speeding whilst I was asleep this past Monday morning so I am extremely upset; hoping I get a new one soon 😦
I have many exciting blogposts for you all and I hope you all want to read them!
Hope everyone is well… Megan x
I’ve known about the website ‘Public Desire‘ for a few months now, but was wary about ordering shoes online incase they didn’t fit or I didn’t like the style in person. However, after WEEKS of searching for the perfect bright coloured high heel for a ball I was attending; I decided to take the plunge and buy a pair of heels from PD. AND I AM SO GLAD I DID. It’s the first time I have ever done a copper eyed look on myself and I have to say- I love it! It’s so simple for everyday wear and if you want to glam it up for a night, just add a little more bronzer, highlight your cheekbones, create a more smoked eye and voila! I love doing my makeup, it makes me feel all nice. What does your everyday makeup consist of? Let me know in the comments! Have a lovely evening all! If you enjoyed this post, gimme a like and follow 🙂 xo
I’m going out for drinks today/tonight and I’m gonna show you a little OOTD:
I’m wearing a gorgeous crop top that I bought from Topshop yesterday. I love it as you can dress it up or down. My jeans are also by Topshop and are from the Petite “Jamie” range. My heels are last years New Look and my clutch is also from New Look around a year ago too. I love combining new clothing and accessories with stuff I already have. It makes me feel happy that stuff I already own is still in style… Woo! To accessorise im wearing a pretty statement necklace from Primark and my Vivienne Westwood earrings (which you can’t see oops)! My watch is a silver with a diamanté face and if I remember correctly it is from Benidorm market. I loooooooove this outfit as it looks like i have spent a lot of time preparing it even though it only took me about 10 minutes to decide haha!
I glammed my makeup up today and these are the products that I have used:
- MAC studio fix foundation in Nw13
- MAC pro long wear concelear in Nw15. I used this on my blemishes and to highlight my chin, t zone and under my eyes.
- Mac studio fix powder in NW22. I used this to set my foundation and concelear.
- Hoola bronzer. I used this to contour my cheek bones and my jaw line.
- MUA blush in Bon Bon.
- Makeup Revolution baked highlighter in “Pink Lights”
- Naked 3 eyeshadow pallette
- MUA pro brow kit
- Stila eyeliner
- Kate Moss Rimmel mascara
- MAC Lipstick in “Flamingo”
I hope you all have enjoyed this post, I like doing OOTD’s! Have a nice Easter weekend everyone; I hope you all get lots of chocolate… Bye for now! Love Meg xo
